New Life Horizon Initiative is a refugee-led organization founded in the Nakivale refugee settlement, ISINGIRO district, Uganda in January 2020. Our mission is to empower refugees and host communities through tailored support, access to educational resources, and opportunities for community engagement. We focus on alleviating poverty and unemployment, fostering livelihoods, promoting sustainable economic growth, and creating a positive impact within our communities.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to join our team and support our commitment to impact-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of M&E frameworks and tools.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data to assess program effectiveness.
- Support the preparation of monitoring reports and presentations.
- Participate in field visits to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of M&E processes.
Qualifications:
- Recently completed a degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Passion for social impact and community development.
