our theory of change
NELHIN’s Theory of Change
Our theory of change emphasizes interconnectedness between our interventions (Integration and social cohesion, alongside Entrepreneurship, Women’s empowerment, and Mental Health) as drivers of community wellbeing and resilience. It posits that fostering inclusive environments enhances social connections, which in turn supports mental health and well-being. By empowering women through entrepreneurship programs, they gain economic independence and agency, creating role models and reducing societal barriers. This empowerment facilitate integration by encouraging diverse community participation, breaking down stereotypes and promoting social cohesion. Moreover, addressing mental health needs through supportive services enables individuals to thrive academically, socially, and economically, ultimately creating a more cohesive and resilient society where everyone can contribute to and benefit from collective wellbeing.
