We are a transformative organization focused on skilling refugee and host communities, enhancing their capacity for resilience and self-reliance.
New Life Horizon Initiative , launched in January 2020, provides support services to Nakivale refugee settlements, focusing on financial, entrepreneurship and resource management skills, with funding from local donors and grants.

Areas of Intervention
Livelihood & Resiliance
We enable refugees’ economic self-reliance and resilience by providing skills training, market access, entrepreneurship support, asset protection, psychosocial support, and inclusive policies to sustainably rebuild livelihoods and coping capacity.
Mental Health & Psychosocial Support
we Provide culturally sensitive, accessible MHPSS to refugees, reducing distress, strengthening coping and resilience, restoring daily functioning, social connections, safety, and facilitating access to protection and care.
Environment & Energy
We aim to promote sustainable natural resource management and equitable access to clean, reliable energy to strengthen climate resilience, public health, and local livelihoods.
Women empowerment & Child care
We work on Child protection and gender Based violence to protect vulnerable people, particularly children, who are directly or indirectly harmed by household and community violence.
