About Us
We are a transformative organization focused on skilling refugee and host communities, enhancing their capacity for resilience and self-reliance.
Founded in early 2020, New Life Horizon Initiative (NELHIN) began its work in Nakivale refugee settlement after volunteers identified critical gaps in healthcare, education, and employment access for refugees. Starting with local donor funding, the organization provides training in financial skills, entrepreneurship, basic computer skills, mental health support, and resource management. By partnering with local organisations, iNGOs, and local leaders, it aims to build resilience and self-sufficiency through sustainable, community-driven programs.
Our Vision
